HexCore: A mix of Mother Nature and our human nature. A smart building block that created the body of the Solar Voyager. Waste plastic, the same kind that kids collected from the streets, was melted into the filament that feeds 3D-printers. We then printed a thousand HexCores, each with a unique identification number.

But HexCore is more than a smart building block: Each piece represents a sustainability message that the children have given us. This way the body of the Solar Voyager carries innovative material as well as the values and ideas of people who are striving for a sustainable future.
